My philosophy is simple...
To capture the gentle innocence of every newborn.
The playful and serious side of each child, the originality of each teen and the magic of families.
Karen strives to capture the true hearts and spirits of those that are photographed by her.

Karen’s love of photographing children and their families has earned her state and national recognition through the many awards bestowed upon her. Karen is honored to have her images in the permanent loan collection of the Professional Photographers of America.

My story...
I have lived in Natick for 20 years with my husband and two sons.
I started photographing after I graduated from college, but it wasn’t until the birth of my first son 10 years ago that I realized the importance of capturing each moment.

My first son taught me how to be a better portrait photographer.
It’s not about the image...It’s the emotion that you feel when you look at the image. As a mother / photographer I now know the emotion behind the image. I believe a portrait needs that emotion for it to touch your heart each and every time you look at it.
Close your eyes and breath in deep... only then will you capture the magic.
I believe every image should hold a little magic.
I believe in the golden rule and I believe that the eyes are the window to your soul and can be more powerful than a smile.
